Addons for Minecraft Windows 10 (Bedrock, MCPE)

What are addons? What do they add to the Minecraft experience?

Addons give you the ability to change the way things in your game look and behave; addons help you bring new gameplay ideas to life. The addon is a first step towards customizing the Bedrock versions of Minecraft. They allow the addition of elements to the game through a combination of resource packs and behavior packs. They are accomplished by behavior packs.

Will add-ons run on my version of Minecraft?

Addons MCPE will work on any platform that runs the Bedrock Edition; you can even experience them in VR with Minecraft for Windows. They’ll also work in multiplayer and on Realms, so you can play with friends. On this page, you will find free addons for Minecraft Bedrock, MCPE, or Minecraft Windows 10 Addons.

Mods for Minecraft: Java Edition

Modifications to Minecraft, or “mods,” are available through several third-party websites. These mods can add or remove content to the game or change how it is played. Note that these mods are not created, reviewed, or endorsed by Mojang Studios, and the same precautions should be taken when installing these mods as you would with any other piece of the independently developed software.

Modding is not officially supported, nor can we provide support for mods. Modding can be complex and may cause your game to malfunction or not be playable.

Texture Packs

A texture pack was a collection of files that were used to change the in-game textures of blocks, items, mobs, and the GUI. They were .zip files that had various PNG images in them and a text document named pack.txt. The native resolution of Minecraft’s textures was 16×16 (measured pixels in block height and width). 32×32, 64×64, 128×128, 256×256, 512×512, and 1024×1024 textures were referred to as “HD”.

Shaders Packs

Minecraft Shaders, also known as shader packs, add shaders support to Minecraft and add multiple draw buffers, shadow map, normal map, specular map, realistic shadows, lighting effects, 3D textures, realistic water waves and sun rays, clouds improvement, swaying grass and leaves.
